Alejandro Cardona

Costa Rican guitarist and composer Alejandro Cardona is contributing a recording of "Nada que llorar" to the Border Songs CD. He is one of many Spanish-speaking and international artists we have on the project. "Nada que llorar"is a really hot electric blues tune that features some killer guitar work!

The Border Songs CD is going to be a truly bilingual, eclectic recording.

Eliza Gilkyson

We have a whole bunch of artists to announce, and we're going start with Eliza Gilkyson. She is one of the finest singer/songwriters on this planet. She has expressed that the border issue is very close to heart, and she's letting us use her original song "Vayan al Norte" from her Roses at the End of Time album. The song is perfect for our project.

Thank you Eliza! We'd also like to express our thanks to both Red House Records and Bluewater Music Services Corp. for attending to the various permissions in a very timely manner. As we approach our deadlines, this means a lot!

Check out a short film on Youtube featuring Eliza's song "A Beautiful World".
